R Steak & Seafood has opened at the iconic and historic Riviera Hotel & Casino. Executive chef Ronnie Guillermo has created a menu that includes Thai coconut steamed mussels, Applewood-smoked citrus pork belly, barbecued pork ribs and his signature French onion soup. A variety of steaks are served, such as filet mignon, New York strip, porterhouse and bone-in rib eye. Decadent desserts include "the swan"---a cream puff filled with vanilla bean ice cream and topped with chocolate shavings and raspberry sauce. Las Vegas has another new farmer’s market, the Fresh52 Farmers & Artisan Market. Open from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays at Tivoli Village, it hosts 40 vendors, with pesticide-free seasonal produce, freshly baked goods, gourmet olive oils, salsas, spices, sauces, nuts and handmade modern crafts. Station Casinos has opened Pasta Cucina restaurants at five of its locations. This new casual Italian restaurant concept has debuted at Sunset Station, Palace Station, Aliante Station, Texas Station and Boulder Station. Entrees are reasonably priced from $10 to $20, such as chicken or eggplant parmesan; seafood linguini with shrimp, clams, mussels, calamari and salmon; and chicken cannelloni with spinach and ricotta cheese.
 
LTO Pizza & More has opened at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Located on the casino floor, the casual Italian restaurant is open nightly for dinner, and lunch is served on Saturday and Sunday. The menu highlights include Margherita pizza, spaghetti, a chicken Parmesan sandwich and chopped salad. A dinner-for-two deal is available for $30, with pizza of choice, bottomless wine for two or bucket of either five Peroni or Anheuser-Busch bottles, and two Caesar salads. TBones Chophouse Rolls Out New “T-Time” Happy Hour Menu Items
TBones Chophouse and Lounge at the Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa has added new selections to its "T-Time" happy hour menu for the fall and winter seasons. The menu items are priced from $5 to $9 and include beef short rib quesadilla ($7), dirty duck chips ($5) and fried Wisconsin cheese curds ($7). Old favorites including ahi tuna nachos ($9) and chicken and waffles ($5) remain on the menu. Johnny Smalls at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is getting into the Halloween spirit with a menu of inspired dishes, available through October 31. Festive bites include “eye” balls (spicy green olive meatballs with spicy arrabbiata sauce), "bucket of bones" (pork back ribs in a “bloody hot” glaze) and "charred parts" (char grilled ribs, wings and rare flat iron with sticky red barbeque sauce). The menu dishes are available a la carte or as part of the restaurant’s all-you-can-eat-tapas special for $19.99 ($15.99 with Rockstar Players Card). Bellagio Introduces Luxury Dining Al Fresco at Picasso
Picasso at the Bellagio has unveiled a new outdoor patio with 16 tables, accommodating 56 guests. Opened just in time to enjoy the pleasant fall weather that Las Vegas has to offer, the patio overlooks the Vegas Strip and the iconic Bellagio fountains. Executive chef Julian Serrano is offering seasonal dishes such as Maine lobster salad, sautéed filet of black bass, and roasted tournedo loin of Colorado lamb. The Pub at Monte Carlo Offers Football Game Day Specials
The Pub at Monte Carlo Resort & Casino is offering some incentives to watch football on its 30-plus television screens. During the season, the Pub opens at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and offers an all-you-can-drink bar with build-your-own-cocktails and margaritas for $39. For an additional $15, a brunch buffet is thrown in, featuring scrambled eggs and chorizo sausage, mini Pub burgers, four-cheese flatbread, pepperoni flatbread and Buffalo wings. Locals can score with happy hour pricing all day on Saturday and Sunday and half-price beers on Sunday. ARIA Restaurants Celebrate National Seafood Month
During October, ARIA’s fine dining restaurants are celebrating National Seafood Month with seafood-inspired dishes. American Fish is featuring an indulgent lobster five ways that includes an heirloom tomato soup with lobster grilled cheese; Jean Georges Steakhouse is serving raw Nantucket Bay scallops; Sirio Ristorante is offering rare Mediterranean sea bream carpaccio; and Sage is sourcing Pacific hamachi at the peak of its season. Jean Paul Labadie has been appointed executive chef and general manager at Garfield’s Restaurant, just steps away from Marche Bacchus, where he formerly served as executive chef. Labadie recently appeared on an episode of the Food Network’s “Extreme Chef” and was proclaimed the winner. Both Garfield’s and Marche Bacchus share many of the same customers.
