CRAVE American Kitchen & Sushi Bar has opened in the new Downtown Summerlin, serving American cuisine and modern sushi. This new location is the ninth in the U.S., but first to open in the west. Décor elements include gold tiles surrounding an open kitchen area, hand-blown light fixtures scattered throughout the dining area, a six-foot chandelier at the restaurant’s entrance and a patio for al fresco dining overlooking Downtown Summerlin’s open square area. Executive chef Jason Talbot executes a menu featuring signature dishes such as scallops with butternut squash risotto, bison burger topped with pork belly, lamb meatballs with poblano cream sauce, and flatbreads such as duck confit with fig marmalade and pickled grapes. A sushi bar is curated by head sushi chef Hiroki Ohata with fresh fish options delivered daily. CRAVE is open daily for lunch and dinner. Popular cook, DJ and cookbook author Steve Martorano has opened his second Vegas location, Martorano’s Paris Las Vegas, his first on the Strip. Located along the Le Boulevard portion of the Paris Las Vegas property, the restaurant features expansive seating areas, patio dining and a large central bar. The menu offers specialty items, such as his signature eggplant stack and chef's homemade meatballs. Several HD televisions are positioned throughout the restaurant, showcasing scenes from Martorano’s favorite films. After 9 p.m., the restaurant transforms into Martorano’s Supper Club, with a dance floor, DJ booth and state-of-the-art sound system playing classic R&B, disco, slow jams and today’s Top 40s and hip-hop. Sushi Roku Celebrates 10th Year Anniversary with Special Menu & Locals' Deal
Sushi Roku inside the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace will celebrate its 10th anniversary from November 11-15 by offering its “Ultimate Top 10,” a menu of the restaurant’s most popular dishes over the past 10 years. All priced at $10, the items include yellowtail diced chilies with olive oil and garlic ponzu; a Katana roll with spicy tuna and shrimp tempura, topped with tuna and yellowtail; filet mignon-wrapped asparagus with soy mirin sauce; and Chilean sea bass with truffle-miso glaze. In addition, the restaurant will offer half-off lunch and dinner to Las Vegas locals during the anniversary week. The locals’ deal is not valid on alcohol or with any other promotion, including the "Ultimate Top 10" menu. Five50 Pizza Bar's All-You-Can-Drink Beer Special During Televised Football Games
Five50 Pizza Bar is offering an all-you-can-drink beer special available throughout the football season. Priced at $25, fans can consume unlimited draft beer throughout any televised football game, and for $35, guests can add a choice of Jack Daniel’s Sinatra or a Don Julio 1942. Restaurant Guy Savoy Celebrating White Truffle Season with Prix-Fixe Menu
With the season here, Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace is offering a six-course prix-fixe menu highlighting the complex flavors of the white truffle. Priced at $420, the six-course menu includes scallops prepared two ways; pumpkin soup served with poached egg and white truffles; rich alba white truffle risotto; roasted guinea hen with salsify, hazelnut and watercress coulis, topped with white truffle shavings; and a dessert of an apple baked in spiced sugar crust, followed by Restaurant Guy Savoy Mont Blanc. Trevi to Honor National Pizza Month with $10 Pizzas during October
Trevi Italian Restaurant inside The Forum Shops at Caesars will celebrate National Pizza Month by offering a different specialty pizza for $10 each day throughout the month of October. Executive chef Peter Scaturro’s daily pizzas will include roasted chicken, pancetta, roasted garlic, spinach and mozzarella; shrimp and pesto with Gulf shrimp, prosciutto, pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, mozzarella and Asiago cheese; Italian sausagee with peppers, roasted garlic and mozzarella; and Margherita with Roma tomatoes, mozzarella and fresh basil. Circo, the casual outlet of Le Cirque that has operated at Bellagio since the resort opened in 1998, closed September 30. While Le Cirque remains open, MGM Resorts International has announced that chef Julian Serrano will open his first Italian restaurant at the resort in the Circo space, overlooking the Bellagio fountains. The new Serrano restaurant, named Lago by Julian Serrano, will feature small plates and will include an outdoor patio next to the resort’s iconic fountains, an upgrade that Circo did not have.
