Lauro Ristorante Restaurant Review: While Lauro distinguishes itself with its seafood and pasta dishes, there is more to the menu, including sweetbreads, chicken, veal and steaks. Especially tantalizing are the pâté Della Casa (chicken liver pâté) and cozze alla caprese (fresh mussels sautéed in tomato, garlic and basil). For dinner, try the fresh grouper (when in season) served with a light tomato sauce, capers, Italian olives and garlic. The modest wine list boats nearly three dozen labels, both domestic and imported. There's always a fine selection of homemade desserts, too.
