L'Avant-Gout Restaurant Review: This is one of the great modern bistros in the city, and they do a brisk business over the five days a week they are open. The lovely golden-russet décor creates a calming atmosphere in a place that bustles with the enthusiasm of the diners. The classic dish, pork pot-au-feu, is always on the menu, but the other dishes change weekly, such as cod-fish marinated in cottage cheese and squid-ink risotto. Handsome wine-list to drink on the premises or to buy at the wine cellar located just opposite.
