The Lazy Daisy Café is a very casual little café in Santa Monica with a look that fits its name, complete with a yellow-striped awning and cute little flower boxes. The neighborhood regulars---who’d like to keep this place a secret---gravitate to the umbrella-laden patio. Omelets, eggs Benedict and very good waffles are best in the morning, while lunchtime favorites include satisfying burgers (sirloin, turkey or veggie) and a nifty, not-too-heavy spaghetti carbonara.
