THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Le Bistro Montage Restaurant Review:

There's something enticing about eating at a restaurant beneath a major bridge, especially after most of the city is asleep. This is where those in the know go when the band has finished playing, the night is still young and hunger hits. The huge and almost luridly dark room is usually thronged well past midnight with most of the seating at long communal tables. Cajun and Southern dishes star, including clam and andouille sausage, plus an array of linguine. It's also one of the rare places in town to serve frogs' legs, and probably the only spot where gator bites can be added to your mac 'n’ cheese. Brunch plates range from homemade biscuits to omelets, and the bartender will mix a creative cocktail combining Champagne, Cointreau and Emergen-C. Portions are large; if you have leftovers, the servers package them into signature artistic aluminum foil animals. Drop in on a Monday or Tuesday evening when bottled wine is half price. The adjoining La Merde cocktail lounge (adults only) offers a quieter, more intimate atmosphere, plus a place to wait if all tables at this no-reservations spot are full.
