Le Cellier Restaurant Review

: Le Cellier immerses diners in the sights and sounds of our neighbor to the north. Candle sconces light the arched doorways, amber stained glass and cool stone walls create the ambience of an old-style wine cellar. A prix-fixe lunch offers three courses, including beef tenderloin and a thick burger, for less than $30. The menu has a selection of Canadian specialties, starting with a luxuriously creamy, rich cheddar cheese soup with smoked bacon, one of Disney's most-requested recipes. On the lighter side, we suggest the heirloom tomato salad with smoky blue cheese, and lobster chopped salad with crisp green beans and buttery lobster and avocado. The specialty is flavorful steaks, from a bone-in rib-eye with potato wedges and maple-pink-peppercorn butter to the tender filet mignon with mushroom risotto. Equally good are the broiled Alaskan halibut and Pacific king salmon. The maple crème brûlée is a good ending to the Canadian-inspired meal. An interesting wine list focuses on the provinces and territories of Canada, and there are ten ales and lagers, most of which are handcrafted at microbreweries in Canada.
