Le Chateau Restaurant Review: Le Château features contemporary French cuisine in a 100-year-old Tudor-style mansion overlooking the Hudson River Valley. The view is striking as is the elegant space marked by wood paneled walls and pressed white tablecloths. Sweetbread grenobloise and baked escargots are well-executed, traditional starters. Entrées like the soft-shell crab beignets are artfully prepared, while the veal paillard is as classically French as it gets. For a more laid-back dining experience, check out JP’s Bistro on the second floor serving a full menu, wines and cocktails in a cozy setting, complete with fireplace and live entertainment.
