Le Mouton Blanc Restaurant Review:
Since the seventeenth century, many a French writer, including Molière and Racine, would dine at this ancient inn in the village of Auteuil (now a chic quarter of Paris), sometimes accompanied by famous courtesans and actresses of the time. The décor has changed more than the spirit of the place, which remains grounded in its historical French heritage. The country terrine and crawfish gratin, a duo of classics such as the cod brandade and the mixed salad, or even the calf's kidney with mustard regularly figure on the menu. Not to be forgotten are the crêpes Suzette and the rum baba for dessert. The set menu costs €30 at both lunch and dinner, and includes wine.
