Recently this French country-style restaurant got a face-lift. It now has a fresher look, but it’s still romantic. The food is very French with subtle Asian touches, and the menu emphasizes skillfully cooked duck, lamb and game (prepared differently every night), as well as an extensive wine selection. A starter of smoked goose breast is wrapped in a thin crêpe and garnished with a salsa of tomatoes, chiles and avocado. Scallops are encrusted with sesame seeds, seared, and served with a sauce of tropical fruits and a garnish of paper-thin lotus chips. Desserts are deluxe.
