THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Le Palais Restaurant Review: This regal dining room is Atlantic Citys best bet for romance. The tuxedo-clad staff serve French-inspired cuisine from under the silver domes which catch the light from the crystal chandeliers. But the Le Palais experience is more than pomp and circumstance. The proficient kitchen staff turns out excellent Continental entrées such as Muscovy duck with Calvados broth and flambéed steak au poivre, which are always a pleasure. The theatrical highlight is dessert, a choice of peaked soufflés served tableside or a turn at the grand cart of confectionery creations.
