Le Quinzième Restaurant Review:

Fresh-faced celebrity chef Cyril Lignac, star of the reality TV show Oui Chef!, and his loyal brigade of cooks are responsible for this restaurant in the 15th arrondissement, just a few steps from the Seine. The contemporary bistro draws diners willing to experiment with the new attitude of French cooking, according to Lignac. A sizeable list of hot and cold appetizers includes a finely gelled, semi-cooked, Sauternes wine duck foie gras and a Hokkaido squash purée in a broth. Main courses feature a lobster casserole with fennel risotto, a roast piece of lamb and eggplant millefeuille confit, or a Rossini-style beef fillet with a black truffle potato purée. Desserts are daring with a chocolate soufflé or a poached pear with acacia honey. And while the staff may be young and restless, the décor is decidedly mature in seductively sophisticated shades of olive with plush banquettes that soften the wood and tile accents.
