Le Renard et La Chouette Restaurant Review

: Husband and wife Louis Bouchard Trudeau and Thania Goyette are the perfect combination of savory and sweet. His seasonal foie gras with corn, peach and ginger and rich duck cassoulet with breast, thigh, drumstick, wing and sausage lead seamlessly into her goat’s milk mousse with fir and chocolate and oolong tea panna cotta with pine nuts. But in true French style, dinner can also be a simple --- and lighter --- affair of small snacks to accompany a bottle of wine. Graze on charcuterie or cheese platters and nibble flambéed sausage to soak up a biodynamic Pinot Noir or white Burgundy. Or, indulge by choosing the Petit Tour or Grand Tour tasting menus and let Trudeau direct the meal with a selection of small plates, an optional main course and dessert.
