Le Sans Souci Restaurant Review: Longtime restaurateur Louis Germaine has moved to Cave Creek to open an endearingly old-fashioned restaurant serving classic French food. It is well worth the drive. Le Sans Souci is a charming restaurant that takes one back in time to a more gentle style of dining. The menu includes escargots à la bourguignonne, coquilles St. Jacques, steak marchand du vin (prepared tableside) and sautéed sweetbreads with artichokes and mushrooms in Madeira sauce. Theres also fresh brook trout sautéed in lemon butter, frog legs with garlic butter, coq au vin and, of course, a dessert tray of pretty French pastries.
