Lebanese Taverna Restaurant Review: As with Lebanese Taverna’s other full-service restaurants, this “restaurant row” destination offers both lunch and dinner menus, starting with hot and cold appetizers, typical salads, various Lebanese-style pizzas, and assorted meat- and vegetable-based main dishes. You can never go wrong with the house hummus, a creamy and rich blend served with warm pita bread. Also good are the falafel fritters and chicken shwarma, served in appetizer or entrée portions. Lamb preparations are tempting but vegetarians can revel in the luscious fatteh bel bathenjan, an eggplant and chickpea dish served with toasted bread. Management offers cooking classes and catering for those interested in extended their Lebanese dining pleasures. |
