THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED All that is missing is a grand view of the Eiffel Tower at this charming restaurant that offers a Parisian bistro-style dining experience. Left Bank is dressed to impress, with plush red velvet curtains, a marble mosaic tiled floor and arched windows. There's also a large and attractive patio area, which is an absolute midsummer night's dream for love birds in the mood to split a bottle of fine Sonoma Valley Pinot Noir and share small plates of buttery escargot and warming goat, Brie and blue cheese fondue. Main courses are nicely executed and well presented. The restaurant does a particularly good job with its seared duck and its flaky Pacific cod, served with artichokes, tomato confit and spring onions. For dessert, try one of the tarts, either the apple with vanilla ice cream or the lemon with raspberry coulis. Other locations.
