THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Legends Bistro Restaurant Review:
This family pleaser offers up a diverse and exciting menu for both adults and kids, deftly helmed by chef Gregory Frey, Jr. A giant outdoor patio is a nice spot to enjoy the sunshine or cozy up next to the outdoor fireplace. Children will like the easy access buffet of hamburgers, mac ‘n’ cheese and chicken tenders during busy summer months, or parents can opt to order them rice bowls with grilled chicken, quesadillas or turkey meatloaf with mashed potatoes. For non-tykes, the Kobe sliders three-ways are a good start---our favorite is the one with herb aïoli. Enjoy crispy calamari, grilled artichokes or chicken "BLT" flatbread as other solid appetizers. Ahi, Caesar or baby greens with dried cranberries and strawberries make for good salads. For a casual bite, opt for the Stone Pale Ale fish ‘n’ chips or a juicy Angus burger with house-made Thousand Island. But our favorite entrée arrives as oven-roasted Pacific salmon, nestled on a bed of butternut squash purée with wild mushroom risotto. Carnivores will appreciate the aged prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes and black pepper horseradish cream sauce. As a final indulgence, try the caramel apple crème brûlée, while kids will grin over the brownie sundae or giant chocolate chip cookies.
