THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Les Trois Petits Bouchons Restaurant Review:

You'll probably walk past this downstairs restaurant at least once before finding it. But once found, you'll never want to leave, and also never want to tell anyone else about it --- it's perhaps better to keep the charm of it to yourself. The place feels like a wine cave, with stone walls decorated with privately imported bottles of special vintages. Servers wear sneakers but are professional. They know the bistro menu (including the seasonal daily specials) and the wine list inside-out, and several are also sommeliers. That's because Les Trois Petits Bouchons puts as much emphasis on its wine as its food. Choose from one of seven or so by-the-glass, often biodynamic, organic or natural options to accompany the duck confit, seared scallops or beef tartare. End with a cheese plate followed by a digestif and smile the morning after when you don't have a headache from the quality wine. This and the fact that the restaurant's walls seep romance make it the perfect place for a special evening. But the ambience is casual enough to make it an ideal place for a glass of wine and a well-made meal at the bar any night.
