This white concrete building houses a family-owned business in which mom makes the excellent cobblers and cakes. Breakfast is simple, with decent grits, sausage and even old-fashioned streak-o-lean bacon. An egg, sausage or two strips of bacon, grits, toast and coffee or orange juice is less than $5. For lunch or dinner, fried fish and grits are the way to go. Among the sides, the collard greens are excellent. Pig ears are available for the adventurous.
