Levante's Restaurant Review: With its bold blues and yellows, this Middle Eastern restaurant has taken DC by storm. Drop in at lunch or dinner and scan around for a vacant table. It seems everyone has stopped by for a glass of wine, a loaf or two of the restaurant’s superb hot bread dunked in golden olive oil and one of the oversized Turkish pides---a pizza boat loaded with your choice of toppings. We are addicted to the red lentil soup to start and always end up with an order of garlicky hummus and the lamb pide. Bigger appetites will enjoy the moussaka, kebab or veal and lamb chop entrées.
