THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Liaison Restaurant Review: In a restored 1920s building on Espanola Way, Liaison features contemporary cuisine. It progressively fuses the refined flavors of France with the bold flavors of the American South, pulling from the bounty of farm- and ocean-fresh local ingredients available in South Florida. Everything is handmade, from the cheeses, ice creams and breads, to the wild herbs and vegetables that come straight out of the on-premises garden. Hand-selected premium boutique wines are offered at reasonable prices. The laid-back bar, featuring a bold selection of New Orleans-inspired quick bites and cocktails, flourishes as a hip, local haven day and night. Only the tropical breezes blowing in off scenic Espanola Way remind us that we aren’t in some Paris bistro, or a cozy enclave in the French quarter of New Orleans.
