The Libertine Liquor Bar Restaurant Review

: The cosmopolitan décor of cool browns and blues matches the innovative twist on the house cosmopolitan and specialty mixed drinks. High-quality liquors from artisan distillers complement the dishes prepared on the whim of the chef --- be it a terrine of heirloom tomatoes with a splash of crème fraîche or a flight of bacon from the local boutique meat market. While the menu changes often, the intriguing and well-executed selections remain: country-style meatloaf and fried pickles; roasted figs, blue cheese panna cotta and smoked almonds; mussels with saffron, fennel and chilies. If you have a favorite cocktail, inform one of the spiffily-attired mixologists and they'll create it with skill.
