| The opulent Little Buddha's French, Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese cuisine is inspired by its Paris-based Buddha Bar. The entry tower showcases gold floor-to-ceiling Buddha statues, and two massive statues are displayed in the domed, dimly lit, Asian-themed main dining room and back room. Their serene faces set the mood for relaxing dining. The restaurant also includes an elegant six-seat exotic water bar and ten-seat sushi bar. We like the tuna and albacore tuna with a garlic-ginger sauce, and the Palms roll---cucumber-wrapped salmon, yellowtail, spicy tuna and snow crab. Among appetizers are Kobe beef tataki, and bamboo-steamed seafood dumplings and big-eye tuna. A spicy roasted Jidori chicken and hibachi-grilled filet mignon are also available. The lively late-night crowd is accompanied by a hip DJ Thursday through Sunday. Little Buddha's extensive saké list is legendary, with a fun assortment of fruity, flirty cocktails offered as well. |
