Little Havana II Restaurant Review: A bit on the cavernous side, this representative Cuban is a great place for large parties, banquets and Sunday family meals. Reliably tasty and pleasingly consistent island cookery is elevated by professionally correct service and starched linens. Expect perfectly flavored black beans and fluffy, buttery white rice every time, along with savory ham croquetas, pounded chicken seared with just a hint of garlic and a squeeze of lime, and ropa vieja that might rival your Cuban grandma's. No worries---the usual flan and tres leches for dessert are competent but probably not up to her standards. |
