| If you like it loud and crowded and are looking for generous portions, this festive, brick-walled cantina marked by painted garage doors that open onto a shaded patio will suit you and your group. The fajitas are a cut above, with an unusual marinade that tenderizes an otherwise tough piece of skirt steak. Garlic butter drizzled on the pile of meat, served sizzling on huge platters of onions, tomatoes and peppers, doesn't hurt, either. That same sinful condiment also comes in a cup on the side of excellent chicken and shrimp fajitas, and all can be wrapped in fresh, hot and fluffy flour tortillas. Start with the sopa de tortilla with grilled chicken, corn, Jack cheese, avocado and tortillas. Then try the poblano marisco, a chile relleno oozing with a crawfish and shrimp stuffing; or Sito's stack, layered with spinach, chicken, cheese and corn tortillas. Don't miss the Americanized tres leches cake, a towering treat sitting in a pool of three creams garnished with whipped cream, dark chocolate sauce and chocolate spikes. |
