Little Restaurant Restaurant Review

: Sure, you can find all of the traditional Chinese staples on the menu, like a pu pu platter, lo mein and rice plates. But what you should try at this basement-level restaurant is the seafood, which is what put the tiny place on the map. Sautéed sea conch with tofu is a winner and the crispy and spicy whole fish would pass muster in Hong Kong. The small kitchen churns out not-so-common finds like minced beef with Chinese parsley soup and noodle dishes galore, not to mention the juicy empress chicken and beef with bitter melon. Try the health-minded steamed sliced pork with vegetables, too. While we like the cheap prices, something we will never understand is the hours; unlike most Chinatown eateries, Little Restaurant closes at 10 p.m.
