THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Little Szechuan Restaurant Review: In a restaurant that started life more than 20 years ago as a rigorously authentic Chinese establishment, chef/owner Kong Ko now fields a menu that integrates standard Chinese dishes with Chinese American fare. Yet you can find unusual preparations quite easily, such as pork belly, quivering with sweet fat and streaks of lean, steamed and sliced into a sauce of salted mustard greens. Green beans are seasoned with dried shrimp and other exotica. Cold sesame noodles are just spicy enough, while eggplant is cooked to the custard stage and presented in a savory brown sauce. Even the more familiar dishes are well executed, such as moo shu pork. Dessert is orange segments, the same meal ender that’s long been offered. As opposed to ordering from the wine list, you may bring your own wine; there’s a $10 corkage fee. Fortune cookies are available.
