Little Town Restaurant Review: A New York State-inspired gastropub? Yes, please. This diminutive tavern is all Empire State, all the time, allowing the curious eater to go on a culinary journey without leaving their butcher-block table on East 15th Street. There are up to 20 tap lines flowing with New York brews, including Kelso, Blue Point and Ithaca, and a menu loaded with items like Buffalo chicken wings served with blue cheese, and the Garbage Plate, a Rochester staple that is exactly as it sounds: a pile of baked beans, sausage, tater tots and other elements. The Hudson Valley grilled cheese is also worth considering, with béchamel sauce adding an extra layer of flavor. |
