Livebait Restaurant Review:
Livebait is a useful restaurant for theatre-goers to the Old Vic nearby. Both the menu and the cooking are good and basic, so go for the likes of fish soup or deep-fried whitebait with tzatziki to start, then move on to the grill section (sea bass, bream and the like, including a steak) or mains like the classic fish ‘n’ chips or scallop risotto. You can specify how you want your fish cooked and the restaurant supports the sustainable fishing policy. The décor is fun: tiled with wooden tables, green banquettes and chairs.
