THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Lobster Pot Restaurant Review

: This is the “new” Lobster Pot---it’s located in the same building, but there are some changes for those who remember this quaint but steady restaurant along the Gulf Beaches. There’s now a martini bar with live jazz on weekends, but for the most part, the menu remains familiar. As always, there’s the famous trinity of choices: whole lobster steamed, broiled or Thermidor (menu items to be ordered in advance, if possible). But filet mignon is an option, too (available gussied up substantially by South African lobster tail and a half-pound of Alaskan king crab legs). Chef Steve’s marinated lamb chops, oak-grilled and served with a delicate lamb reduction, is another popular choice. There’s even vegetarian lasagna featuring grilled seasonal vegetables prepared in a classic lush, cheesy style and served with a sun-dried tomato-vodka sauce.
