The Lobster Shack Restaurant Review: The Lobster Shack closes in the winter and reopens every March, after which locals and tourists alike flock here for the fried seafood and rustic lobster dinner. The lobster stew is rich and thick with lobster meat and the view of all the action on the Portland Harbor about as good as it gets. Deep-fried fish and clams are a must, but many come for the straightforward crab and lobster rolls on a buttery hot dog bun or the unexpectedly tasty clam burger. Get a slice of blueberry pie or the famous cream-filled whoopie pie for dessert. |
