| Located in the Vons shopping center of University City, Lorna’s is the type of unpretentious, local eatery for which food lovers yearn. Expect a wait because the eatery is small, but rest assured you will be sated once you get a table. The menu is replete with home-style salads, pastas and chicken entrées. We like the emphasis on vegetable dishes, and the eggplant appetizer is a standout. Pasta choices are many, as are the types of fluffy-crusted pizzas. The same dough is used to create some of the best calzones in San Diego. |
