Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant Restaurant Review: More reasonably priced than casino restaurants and many of the freestanding, upscale eateries in the city, Los Amigos keeps pouring margaritas made with an extensive selection of tequilas and serving seafood dinners late into weekend nights. Standout dishes include chipotle pork tenderloin that’s been marinated with chipotle chiles and oranges, then grilled and glazed with a jalapeño-apricot mixture. Another fine dish is the sweet potato tamale with orange butter and green apple chutney. The wine list is limited but the white wine sangría is overflowing with chopped fruit---utterly delectable. |
