The classics like cheese and pepperoni are served by the slice at this diminutive downtown pizzeria, but the menu reflects many ethnic influences. The loroco pizza is inspired by the owner’s native El Salvador, topped with four kinds of cheeses and loroco flowers, while a chimichurri-laden Buenos Aires pizza and choripan sandwich filled with Argentinean sausage channel Argentina. Among a variety of specialty pies is the Chavez Ravine --- Dodger Stadium is nearby --- finished with mozzarella, minced garlic, mushrooms, artichokes, goat cheese and pesto, as well as the Bruce Lee, made up of mozzarella, red sauce, peppers, spicy sausage, red onions and hoisin sauce. Salads, like the Koufax (sun-dried cranberries, goat cheese and a nice balsamic dressing), are on offer, as well as baked Buffalo wings and beef-, chicken- or shrimp-stuffed empanadas. For dessert, one can order cookies and ice cream sandwiches.
