Los Angeles Pizza Company Restaurant Review: The classics like margherita and pepperoni are served by the slice at this diminutive downtown pizzeria, but the menu reflects many ethnic influences. The loroco pizza is inspired by the owner’s native El Salvador, while a chimichurri-laden Buenos Aires pizza and choripan sandwich channel Argentina. Among a variety of specialty pies is the “Chavez Ravine”---Dodger Stadium is a few minutes away---topped with mozzarella, minced garlic, mushrooms, artichokes, goat cheese and pesto. Salads, like the “Koufax” (sun-dried cranberries, goat cheese and a nice balsamic dressing), are offered, as well as Buffalo wings, Cuban-style flan and empanadas.
