Los Gringos Locos Restaurant Review

: Los Gringos Locos appears to be a run-of-the-mill Mexican joint filled with suburban families, but there are many things this place does well. In particular, the tableside-prepared guacamole distinguishes the eatery from most other Mexican spots in the area. Also notable is a shrimp enchilada bathed in a sauce delicately infused with peanuts. Other reliable options include fajitas and carnitas. The margaritas---some big enough to swim in---are more than respectable. If the place wasn’t busy enough, $1.25 tacos on Tuesdays pack in the locals.

Im only giving two-stars greatly due to the margarita mix....sadly, it has a significant taste of plastic. They make their own mix and store it in plastic containers which leaves a really really bad taste to the margarita.
Please Los Gringos, re-think this! Other than that, the salsa is satisfying and very flavorful. My favorite is the fajita tostada, but I have noticed that they are putting less and less chicken.....don't skimp on this, you have a big following in the community....they deserve the best!
