Carnivores and vegetarians alike flock here for the inexpensive rice plates such as braised bean curd with chilies and mushrooms in sesame oil, or bean curd sautéed in curry sauce. The house vegetarian chow mein is always good, as is the sizzling rice soup. Somewhat unusual, but nevertheless appetizing, is a dish of whole black mushrooms stuffed with cabbage, Chinese cilantro and gluten.
