This is the on-site retail outlet of a major wholesale seafood supplier just across the New Orleans city line, so you’ll know the fish and shellfish will be fresh, which is more than can be said of the looks of the place. The big sellers are the fried-seafood poor-boy sandwiches, which are filled with ridiculously large amounts of oysters, shrimp, fish or whatever. Generosity is the principal virtue of the place, however, since the sandwich bread, side orders and other fare are undistinguished.
