THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Lucky Burger Restaurant Review: Lucky Burger, occupying one of many gas station reclamations around town, began with a surprising gourmet edge: a small but decent wine selection and 100 percent Angus in some burgers --- and then lost it with new owners. This seems not to matter much to its patrons who still willingly wolf down a triple meat cheeseburger or a veggie burger with grilled zucchini, mushrooms, tomatoes and onions, all chased with a super shake or a Black Cow root beer float. Beyond burgers, Lucky offers popcorn shrimp, chicken nuggets and even a “cooked fresh” fried rice with shrimp, chicken or Chinese barbecue pork, signaling a definitive goodbye to gourmet. |
