Nestled in a youth-oriented neighborhood with many bars that fill its late-night streets with hungry wanderers unwilling to head home quite yet, Lucky Dogs looks ever so humble but serves a creative spectrum of juicy, quality sausages including linguiça, kielbasa, chicken-apple, peppery Santa Fe, garlicky Portuguese, organic, veggie and more, topped with cheese, bacon, coleslaw and other delights. Best-sellers include the Tokyo Teaser Dog, an eight-inch all-beef wiener fusionistically dressed with Japanese mayonnaise, teriyaki sauce and seaweed, and the Stoner Dog, generously finished with chili, melted cheese and Fritos.
