Still going strong, Lucky Strike has been a perennial favorite of Downtown hipsters since it opened nearly a decade ago. Not much has changed over the years: The floor is still roughly hewn (its unevenness matches that of the service), members of the waitstaff are still adorable in their scanty outfits, the tables are still crowded, the music is still loud and the decaying silver mirrors on the walls still display the short menu and wine list. Stop by at 2 p.m. for a lovely, relaxing lunch, or at 2 a.m. for the hamburger, roast chicken, pasta or soup special, or steak frites, all of which are perfectly fine.
