Located next door to La Grande Orange Café, occupying the former luggage room at this restored train station, is this lively pizzeria. Red walls, a prominent wood-burning oven and a horseshoe-shaped bar illuminated by a trio of crystal chandeliers cast a casual, funky vibe here, heightened by loud music. The menu is short, but consider starting with the LGO chopped salad, a generous portion of lightly dressed chopped greens elevated by diced salami, pistachios and golden raisins. Bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese are sweet as dessert, but somewhat addictive. Among pizzas, consider the mushroom party, with crimini and oyster mushrooms and fennel---an optional runny egg is recommended. The rocket man is loaded with Fresno chiles, broccolini, roasted garlic and oven-dried tomatoes. For a finale, we recommend Key lime pie or the multi-layered red velvet cake. The mostly California wine list is more than respectable, but a bit pricey for a pizzeria.
