THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED LYFE Kitchen Restaurant Review:

LYFE Kitchen relocated its headquarters to Memphis from Palo Alto, California, and its flagship store in East Memphis offers burgers, wraps, salads and smoothies made with healthy ingredients and preparation methods. LYFE (or Love Your Food Everyday) is a fast-food restaurant with counter ordering and quick service, but the interior is classy, with a full bar and lounge, light wood accents and bright orange furniture. An herb garden is installed in the middle of the restaurant, and there’s a large patio with couches for relaxing. The menu features burgers made with grass-fed beef, unfried chicken and stir-fried grain bowls. Vegan items include dishes highlighting Gardein brand plant-based meat substitutes (the LYFE Veggie Burger comes with smoky pepper aïoli and Daiya vegan cheese). Fries are formed from sweet potatoes; quinoa salad, kale salad or sautéed vegetables are available as sides, too. Desserts range from chocolate chip cookies to budino made with fruit, chia seeds and date syrup. The full bar serves hand-crafted cocktails (try the Memphis Mule with house-made ginger beer and vodka) and a small selection of locally brewed beers and affordable wines. Daily breakfast brings burritos, turkey sausage, quinoa pancakes and Greek yogurt bowls.
