About the restaurant: Public TV star Martin Yan has opened his first Las Vegas restaurant, M.Y. Asia, in the newly rebranded Horseshoe Las Vegas (formerly Bally’s). Situated just off of the casino, the 5,300-square-foot 150-seat restaurant includes a noodle bar; retail area featuring books, cookware and merchandise; main dining room with an exhibition kitchen with a noodle-pulling chef; and food lockers where guests can pick up their dishes from a warmed locker after ordering and paying remotely.
Food: The menu features traditional dishes from across Asia, such as shrimp lettuce cups; dim sum sampler; Thai yellow coconut curry chicken; mu shu pork tacos with Berkshire pork, cabbage, eggs and Hoisin sauce; and pan-seared Chilean sea bass marinated in Jasmine tea and with a miso ginger honey glaze.
