Ma Ma Wok Restaurant Review: It's tempting to think this is a family affair, and indeed, rumor has it that two sisters are working the restaurant business by running this eatery in Reston, and a similar one elsewhere in Maryland. We welcome this to the local restaurant scene, and predict that Ma Ma Wok will find its niche in a town where food rules, and where restaurant competition is fierce. We applaud the wisdom of selecting both the familiar and the unfamiliar to feature: Sure, folks can enjoy the very familiar General Tso's chicken and orange beef, but keep a lookout for such treats as tea-smoked sliced duck, yellow leek-shrimp roll and grilled eel. Besides, we have become addicted to the stir-fried baby bok choy and the crispy shredded beef, some of the best flavors in town. Have a yen for sushi? Management counts on netting two types of clientele by mixing and matching cuisines. How about the Ma Ma Wok Big Roll?
