THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED MacArthur's Chop & Crab House Restaurant Review: Prime rib lovers are drawn to the properly cooked beef rubbed with herbs and spices, pan-seared, then slow roasted over a wood fire grill. MacArthurs also offers meat eaters a strip steak marinated in sweet bourbon, a hand-cut filet in the signature steak sauce and baby-back ribs. Those favoring lighter fare have plenty of choices, too, including pecan-crusted grouper, several pasta dishes and roasted buttermilk chicken. The signature soup is a creamy, rich crab bisque. A full pound of crab claws also is available as a starter. The wine program features a generous pour of selected international wines by the glass and numerous choices by the bottle. On the sweet side are Molten Chocolate Baby Cake, with crème anglaise, cobblers made with seasonal fruits, Key lime pie and cheesecake. The restaurant, housed in a former Chart House, shares a spot on the Chattahoochee River with Mother Nature. Service is consistently friendly.
