THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Machupicchu Restaurant Review:

Some find the décor at Machupicchu rather worn-looking, others find it nonexistent. Nonetheless, those who have a hankering for Peruvian fare make their way to this funky establishment in the heart of funky Ocean Beach, not least because this is the only Peruvian eatery in all San Diego County. Much of the cooking is very good, especially those dishes called huancaina, which are served in a mild, creamy sauce. The beef and lamb stews also are tasty, as is the sharply flavored, very Peruvian ceviche. Potatoes naturally round out most plates, and those in an adventurous mood can try a unique dessert made of lightly sweetened beans. There are those who have been known to repeat the experience!
