THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED MaDang 621 Restaurant Review:

MaDang 621 may have the flashiest interior in Koreatown --- high ceilings, walls of gray brick like in an ancient palace in Seoul, tables of deep-grained marble streaked olive green and brown. The beauty doesn’t stop there. Snappy service brings elegant plates of banchan (side dishes) and kimchi. In addition to expertly prepared barbecue dishes (go for the short ribs and beef tongue), specialties include go chu ti gim (fried Korean green peppers stuffed with beef or white fish), dak nal ke (honey and chile glazed chicken wings --- the spice can be cut with accompanying pickled radish cubes), and un dae gu jo rim (black cod and daikon radish simmered in spicy garlic soy reduction). For dessert: Tropical Snow is a festival of shaved coconut ice with sweet beans, jellied fruit and coconut ice cream. The selection of beers includes Hite from Korea, and there’s also prestige soju.
