Maggiano's Little Italy Restaurant Review: Large dining rooms with low lighting and dark wood give Maggiano’s an elegant old-world feel. Located opposite Bellevue Square Mall, this outpost of the national chain is classy enough for special occasions (it’s long been a prom night favorite) and also pleasant for family dinners. Order individual entrées or choose from the family-style menu that allows sampling pasta dishes like lasagna, as well as salads (which we find average), chicken and meat entrées, heaps of vegetables and generously portioned desserts. Starters include a selection of flatbreads, such as sausage with oven-dried tomatoes and chicken with roasted peppers. For something heartier, try the chicken piccata studded with capers and lemon. Chocolate zuccotto cake dusted with cocoa powder is a chocoholic's delight with its layers of chocolate mousse. Wine selections focus on larger West Coast appellations and a full bar is available, too. |
