| Mahalo literally translates to thank you and Hawaiian fast-food fans will be thankful they visited this place. Located in a nondescript strip mall near a busy intersection, Mahalo is a good spot for such Island specialties as grilled Spam musubi, kalua pork, lau lau, poi, and saimin noodles. Staying with the times, the restaurant also offers a low-carb plate with barbecued short ribs, beef and chicken accompanied by two eggs. Dishes come with a scoop of mac ānā cheese and two scoops of sticky rice. Hawaiian natives will be happy to find Pass-O-Guava juice (POG), which the owner has shipped in. |
