The crowd at this rustic little restaurant might be casual, but the food is seriously good. Check the blackboard for daily specials---usually several types of char-grilled fish and maybe a sautéed and a fried option, all of which come with your sauce of choice. We recommend the tangy lime cilantro sauce with the grilled swordfish. You also get to pick two side dishes: we suggest the crisp, homemade coleslaw and the bell pepper-studded potato cakes. The crab cakes are richly meaty and the swordfish sandwich is notable, but our single favorite item is the hollowed-out bowl of crusty bread potted with plump shrimp and then filled with creamy clam chowder. Or try the hearty and rich pasta primavera, linguine with broccoli, zucchini, squash and carrots tossed in white wine garlic butter sauce topped with fresh basil and Parmesan. Polish it off and then order a piece of tangy Key lime pie.
